Segregation Video:

Our Technology and Process

Indian municipal solid waste is un-segregated at the source of waste generation. As a result, Indian solid waste contains almost everything you can imagine. Most of the technologies developed in the world are for segregated waste, because of Indian waste complexity western technologies may not work for the Indian unsegregated waste. Saime green energy pre-process Indian waste and segregates the waste to successfully integrate western technology for Indian Waste.

Waste is first processed in our segregation plant where waste are successfully separated into

  • Degradable waste
  • Raw RDF
  • Inert
  • Polymers mainly plastics
  • Metals

The degradable waste from the segregation plant will be either used to only produce compost or biogas and compost.

RDF produced from the Indian municipal waste usually has the low caloric value and varies from place to place. The caloric value ranges from 1800 calories to 3000 calories. The waste to energy technologies require the RDF to have minimum of 3500 calories. Hence we further processed the raw RDF to increase the caloric value to a minimum of 3500 calories. This RDF then can be used by any waste to energy technology to successfully produce electricity
Plastics or the polymers are used by the pyrolysis bio fuel plant developed in India to generate bio diesel. We also generate electricity from food and Vegetable waste through the bio gas to light up the street lights.
